RMAD Gets More
Electronic
We
recently had an excellent meeting with SuzAnn
Brown of LaunchPad Interactive. With her help, RMAD
has made a plan for modernizing our electronic outreach.
Thanks,
Suzi!

FaceBook, WordPress, Twitter, Flikr, Covidian, Constant
Contact…these
are just some of our options.
Do
YOU have skills
that could help RMAD with changes like these? RMAD needs YOU! Email your
interest, your concerns, your advice to vol-tech@RMAD.org and
we’ll get in touch.

Remember
Prairie Bark
Kennels?
RMAD is
making final medical payments for some of the rescued dogs; some were in
very bad shape. All together, nearly $15,000 was raised and spent; THANK
YOU. The dogs THANK YOU! Activists are looking into possible
criminal prosecution; stay tuned.
see a special webpage that has been created to honor Penny, one of the PBK
dogs with a wealth of medical problems.
On a
positive note, Sherry (co-host of the Animal People Mingler
next Thurs) writes:
“Our new mill dog Yorkie is doing great. She loves the grass and likes to
play with toys. She's eating human grade food and seems to be very
happy. We're very pleased by her progress.”

"...she wanted to say that it was in
the act of taking care of animals and showing respect for all life -- especially when in
need of support ourselves -- that a certain dignity is sustained, a self-respect so
often compromised in troubled times...it comes down to a belief that people
who care for animals are more likely to be compassionate toward their
fellow human beings."
