CU Dog Labs
The University of Colorado
School of Medicine closed its dog labs in
2003.
The labs remain closed, but the School of Medicine has yet to publish
a permanent policy on the matter, leaving open the possibility of
resuming the labs. School administrators say they will reconsider
the issue every year.
For information on the
medical schools that continue using live dogs to
teach physiology, please visit http://www.pcrm.org.
