Ryan Andrews serves as the president of RMAD's board of directors. He is a dietitian and strength/conditioning specialist. He has worked with groups such as the Vegetarian Resource Group, EarthSave, Light Gives Heat, Organic Athlete and The Healthy Food Bank. He is currently Director of Research for Precision Nutrition. Ryan trained and worked at The Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center, one of the most recognized and awarded research institutions in the world. Throughout his time in undergraduate and graduate school, Ryan was trained in Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, and Dietetics. Mark Reinhardt
has been writing and lecturing on vegetarianism and animal rights
issues for 15 years. As a businessman and attorney he has served
in senior management for a number of high-tech companies, maintained
a successful corporate law practice, and served on the boards of
various nonprofit and for-profit corporations. Mark's popular column,
On or Off the Mark, has been published by the Vegetarian Society
of Colorado for more than a decade, and has been reprinted in numerous
U.S. and international publications. His book, The Perfectly Contented
Meat-Eater's Guide to Vegetarianism, was published by Continuum

Youth Board Member Torie Salley-Rains is a student at New Vista High School in Boulder, Colorado. Torie has been a solid RMAD volunteer for more than a year, and has spent countless hours working with staff in the RMAD office. Torie's involvement with animal rights began at the age of 8 when she told her parents she did not want to eat animals. Now she loves to make vegan goodies for her friends and family and strives to educate herself and others on the environmental, psychological, health-related and ethical reasons for leading an animal-friendly lifestyle. Scott Plummer holds two masters degrees and a PhD in the fields of Biological Engineering, Environmental Chemistry, and Environmental Biotechnology, respectively. His research interests cover the fields of Chemistry, Environmental and Biological Engineering, and Molecular Biology, and past research projects have all sought to promote the betterment of all animals through remediation of the environment in which we live. He is currently engaged in solutions for the world's energy problems through the engineering and development of biohydrogen and biodiesel, fuels that could someday replace fossil fuels and grant us a more peaceful world through an increase in energy security and a decrease in carbon-based pollution. Lynée Zajac Beck, M.Ed., is a high school science teacher with Jefferson County Schools in Arvada, Colorado. Since becoming a vegetarian in 1987, Lynée has worked with various animal organizations throughout Michigan, Arizona and Colorado. She currently coordinates THINK GLOBAL, RMAD's humane education program, and fosters for Colorado Cocker Spaniel Rescue and Table Mountain Animal Center.
